I wonder why they couldn’t have got a couple of car jacks under there and got her out and off to hospital quick smart.

....with the risk of futher injuries if the car fell if not done properly? At least it was in the centre of town so help was not far away by the looks. Ouchie!

Ischemia followed by reperfusion injury ;) The biochemistry is fascinating :love:

There are conflicting recommendations re: crush victims. Some say get the object off immediately, others say leave it until paramedics can intervene.
Latest I've heard is remove the object immediately if it’s safe to do so, but only if the accident has just occurred (<15mins). If you’re unsure how long the victim has been crushed, only remove the object if the patient is having trouble breathing.

So for safety I should set an egg timer to 14 min while cavorting with supersized GF?
