If you're not too busy sunning yourself I have a large van and trailer with a driver willing to come and pick us up from Takaka after we do the Rameka if you're keen ! PM me your details and when you are up there if you're up to a couple of group rides (there's about 5 of us). Can't wait.

I will be busy sunning myself out on the bike (when the wife and kids let me lol). I'm prue roadie though, so will be relishing going up and down that bloody takaka hill .. . But catch up for a beer if your there between 26th Dec and 9th Jan...

We have been to Tirohanga near Opotiki for the last few years, but the owners are trying to sell it off.
