Come on guys, play nice. It's not as though I go fast enough to put them under any strain, and the photo is supposed to be about the cranks that are coming off. Sadly the EBs will be going back on. Maybe I could photoshop that image to have ICLIC carbon pedals. . . . :rolleyes:

try a modern wide platform road pedal. feel a lot better than a small platform, well does to me anyway.

If you're just cruising around I don't have a problem with mtb pedals on road bikes, but when you put that caption on a photo of same you're just asking for it...

, that's excellent, and I agree actually. I took them off the MTB because the smallness of the platform gave me a lot of pain from so much standing up on descents and gnarly bits, I have Candys on there now and they are fine. The small platform of the EB doesn't trouble me on the road because there's not so much shock.

Do you use them because you like walking around, or some other reason? If you're not walking much I seriously suggest you consider some dedicated road pedals - it's like adding an extra gear, and so much more comfortable.

I'd go so far as to say almost a similar improvement to going to a 34t from a 39. :thumbsup:
