Cameron Cole Injured

Postby Melissa_Theuriau on Sat 16/Jun/07 11:19pm

Paula Cole just emailed us to let us know that Cameron Cole crashed at Deer Valley, Park City, Utah on Friday morning (USA time) while practicing for the Norba #5 race this weekend.

He has a couple of fractures in his left hand and will be returning to NZ for surgery sometime later this week.

Cam is riding for the Maxxis Team on an Ellsworth this year and has won a couple of downhills and a dual slalom race so far. He was looking forward to going to Mont St Anne for the next World Cup race and then on to join the other kiwis in Europe. That is all for now.

Cameron Cole will arrive back in Hamilton on Thursday for surgery on hand. He is feeling ok - bike is broken, helmet has a hole in it and he has had better days and will have more better days to come. Thanks for all the support.
