I think I met the lahar guy once a few years ago (well nearly a decade now), before they were called lahars.

he seemed very excitable...

I was worried his bike would shatter and result in his untimely death.

if his crazy bikes haven't killed anyone yet I doubt they are going to now ;)

RE: Learn About Suspension Geometry?

If you read and understand this you will be able to design a rear suspension system that squats, jacks or is unaffected by pedalling and weight transfer forces. It's up to you as the designer, this is the pedalling geometry. Bump absorption is a seperate issue, i'm sure most people who have ridden a high pivot bike will agree bump eating is better if your pivot is high.

Any questions?

Cheers for those gems! the skim i just had looks great. Ill have to read it more in depth when i havnt got retarded waste-of-time Uni assignments to do.

Thanks to you who have helped. the frame is almost CAD drawn.

So it'll be a NZ Made carbon-fibre frame, with a dw-antisquat curve, cracks a lot, and will still weigh heaps? :p
