Or Mr. Bob, if you're being a little more thrifty, you could try some Hope Pro2 hubs (In Gunsmoke, to match the Juice frame nicely) laced with DT Comps to Notubes 355s....

The Hopes are much more economical, but Hadley hubs are the pinnacle of trail hubs in my opinion. A little heavier than some options, but great.

I preferred my eccbb on my xxix until I greased the bolts as they were getting nasty to undo. I think the grease allowed me to do up the bolt tighter than I should have - nb I am notorious for doing things up as tight as humanly possible - and now I have one stuck bolt and the allen key socket is completely stripped. Maybe it had nothing to do with the grease and all to do with my unfeasibly large muscles  - either way, lets just say there has been a fair bit of drilling to try to get the sucker out. And it's still not out.
Doesnt matter much now as the xxix has become a donor for my new baby which should be arriving in the next week or so. Does a Roadrat  count as a 29er?? Will fix up the xxix frame later on.
I also think the eccbb makes it stiffer. :o Or it could be the difference between frames. I get way more shoe rub on my chain stays on my peace 9r that has horizontal dropouts.
I find the annoying thing with horizontals is the little bit of gap in the dropout you need to give it, so you can move the wheel forward to get the chain off. It makes the wheel- base longer than it needs to be.
Magic link ftw.

But you can mount 29er tyres to it... so more of a 29er than a 26er.

Dunno. Point being the 700C rims can be mounted with "29er" tyres...

If I put 700x35 on my Litespeed would it be a roadbike? Or a 26er cos the effective rolling circumference was closer to a 26er than it was previously?

dunno, I'm only waiting for datsane to spot this. ( he loves his rat )

the whole wheel size thing can be as confusing as anyone wants to make it. I could claim my plasma is a 29er too ( but I'm not going to )

I'm only claiming it as a 29er cos all the parts will be off one of my 29ers - It will be a 29er hybrid/commuter road bike thing. 29er rims with road tyres fitted - yes confusing and a little stupid.

I should also mention the goddammed xxix frame has stolen my kore seat post too. Perhaps too much commuting in shite weather and zero maintenance contributed. It is well an truly stuck. It's an I-Beam seat so i need to be careful twisting it out with too much force.
evil frame.

700x38c :p

Its only people like you that make it all confusing saying "technically its not a 29er because..."

Got a pair of Geax sagguaro 29 x 2.2 folding

All I need to do now is order the cranks, and decide on the wheel set....

yep, just the standard folding tyres,
I've used the 26" Saguaro's on my trail bike, they work well.
And your forks showed up yesterday too
