Fozzies aren't that big if its more than 2 of you
caldina's are generally relaible, but aren't known to handle well without some work
as much as I'm not a Suby fan, many people do own them for exactly what you want one for

I like my subie, its been great for sking esp with the high/low gearbox.
If I was buying again I'd look at a forrester for a little extra room. (I have a impreza)
