Rigga obvioulsy depends on what you have what year etc... But would say a carbon S works would blow the budget.

I was looking at spending 2-2.5k on a late model secondhand complete bike depending on spec & more on a new ride, really just want to see whats out there

Check out my trademe ad - K2 full sus with about 100k on it. Shram X9 shifters with X0 rear der - 26lb give or take makes it a reasonable lightweight.

Know of a new large '07 Epic frame that was kicking about a mates workshop. It was bought as a donor bike. He had an XL which I bought for a spec build for my bro. I'll see if it's still available.
