Building Hucks.

Postby DHhucks on Sun 8/Jan/12 9:41pm

So mum and dad have bought a 10 acre block in North Canterbury, and have said I can build some jumps etc. but its flat; I really want a 2m + drop off, but don't know the best approach to making one. Suggestions would be helpful. :)

Cruise the neighbourhood for towable derelict vehicles.
Mini -> Commer van -> school bus.

Car shipping crates for the deck.

Bobcat, dirt and a school bus is all you need

Just remember to put the dirt on your bus after you have placed it where you want it

You could inform the locals you have private land available for digging jumps,

as for the school bus, you know you could just buy a written off car off trademe or something for a hundred bucks and build jumps on or around it, adds to the atmosphere... haha

Do this.

Then spend hours on it each day.

You'll progress immensely compared to hucking off drops to flat.

Heh - Do both!

If you are "hucking off drops to flat" you are doing it wrong.

I think what you want is a mean as drop-in, so you get the speeeed, then just a view dirt jumps (with time different jumps/lines) and a quarter at the end.. little like this

Soooo makes me want to get the trail boss out again and move away from Wellington.
