all the locals are pretty friendly though, someone will be happy to show you around though

Yeah 'vegas is awesome. I'm desperately in love with HH & LLRH, but am also keen to see how the SC flows down BillyT, G-Rock, Chestnut, Rollercoaster... also, I couldn't say no to a fang down Pondy's too... so much to cover in a day!

I found my Giant Reign X1 just wasn't quite keeping up, and am getting more and more excited by the hour about the VP-Free :D I think I'll have to invest in some 180mm+ forks however...

Got my headset and rear hub yesterday... Gus at CycleTherapy will be building up the rear wheel tomorrow and pressing in the headset, then I'll get a pic or two for the Vorbii :D

Sooooooo excited

Here it is! The 2nd Santa Cruz I've owned, but the first since 2005.
It's massively heavy and possibly a little too large (I'll find out for sure on Sunday during it's maiden ride), but it's damn sexy regardless! :)

I do most of my riding at Woodhill and the WCRC compound at Riverhead, with a shuttle day at 'Vegas every 2 months or so (which I'm really getting into), and I'm still deciding whether I want 180mm single crown forks or 200mm Boxxers... any suggestions?

Building up a Blur LT2c next week. Its been a long time coming. But damn its worth the wait!
As a taste, the rear wheel (without cassette and skewer mind) weighs 800 grams! Stay tuned....

Here's my Highball, which is serious fun to ride.

I've had it six months, and really enjoy it - sometimes I just don't wanna stop riding!

Sweet. Will be as far removed from my SC as can be I'd say!

I had my first spin on the VPFree today and was well impressed. It's way heavier than my last bike (Giant Reign X1), and I've just taken all my parts off the Reign and whacked them onto the VPFree, so it's only the frame & rear shock that's changed. Once I got used to the larger frame size and slightly steeper head angle (some 180mm Totems would be mint if anyone's selling a set with 1&1/8th steerer), I soon found that the VPFree pedals better, is more plush, and is more comfortable in the air than the Reign.
Soooo sick! :D
