As I'm a sponsored factory rider mine will have to stay :D

T'is a crazy fad.

Sell the fixie or fix a freewheel PDQ. Fashion biking today is 29'ers wearing nood Fox forks.

Says the santa cruz rider

Nah bol. I missed that fashion by a year or so :(

Just us wankers that ride own Santa Cruz now

Meh, I would quite happily have stickered forks on my bike, I may even order some the next time I order something from blue shark....
Yes, I bought the Bushlove racing racing factory custom forks, and I was obviously not cool enough to be associated with the mighty Bushlove, so therefore I have stickerless lowers
Not that it really affects the performance of the forks that they don't have stickers on them, or does it? :eh:

My unstickered Rebas outperformed any stickered fork I'd ever ridden* :)
but I don't know if it was the removal of the Reba stickers, or the application of the Spoke sticker which increased the performance.

I like it a lot
Bit of a different experience to my first experience riding a fully rigid 29er, I still have to watch my speed on corners because this bike just rolls!
Still messing around with a couple of different bar & stem combo's.
Strange thing is, when I ride it, I don't miss not having 5" of suspension on the front.

Well,
After a couple of decent rides, and a 50k race on the Soma, It rocks!
I've tweaked the bars, stem and changed it a couple of times, Think I've got it right this time.

It's definitely going to be my main bike for the 12 hour solo at Taupo coming up soon :paranoid:

It's the perfect combination of bike for all-day xc and races, steel hardtail, 29" wheels, not too heavy.
in saying that I still love my Foes Fxr, and it's no way going to replace it
Give a 29er a go, it might give you a better riding experience
- It's not for everyone, but give it a try
And if anyone is interested in taking a 29er like my Soma for a spin, please Pm me, I might let you take it for a ride, I can custom build you up one of these from a frame if you are interested in buying one too

Oh, Bob.

Not one see you wallowing in your own newness to the 29 phenomenom (excuse spelling) I would like to highlight the following points:
1) 29 inch wheels are bigger in diameter than 26 inch wheels
2) You no longer work for Sportspro
3) 29ers are inherently taller in the front than your average 26er
4) What I'm trying to say you could easily go to a flat bar...............
5) I'm practising to be a politician and avoiding the most direct route to the actual point I'm trying to make
