it''s up to the consumer to choose..

DX started selling the light first. Kai came in later at the same price. Geomangear.com and later thesingletrackstore.com in the US started selling the same thing with allegedly better quality control and offered helmet mounts and longer cords etc. They added a small price premium which grew after a while, probably to cover the significant failure rate. They are now both selling the updated 1400lm model (which Kel just posted) for under 200NZ$

They all come from the Shenzhen Minjun Electronic Factory

ANyone got any more comment on the mighty M Series mountainbike? I was enjoying the comments until somehow it became a debate about lights (yawn - make your own, CREE kit is cheap and it ain't exactly hard).

Kel, having now read the skipper.co.nz article I will no longer give you "the benefit of the doubt".

Keep you claims factual and supported or I will not hesitate now to formally complain to the Commerce Commission.

Ouch

Shame the photos in that article are too poor to actually show anything of substance, but if any of it is true it's a prety poor show. Frankly it just saddens me that people actually thrive off doing a shite job. Do they not crave the comments of happy customers, or the satisfaction of crafting an excellent product? Bleurgh.

Actually the words do enough: They appear to have used and mis-used another persons' design without permission or payment. That appears to be theft.

Similarly they appear to have presented their work as good/fit-for-purpose. What was supplied wasn't. That looks like the work of a con artist.

Come on Kel: Where is the information refuting this?

:music: Again bet you can't/won't provide it. :music:

I raise the bmw with a "wicked" mercades bike I spotted outside a super yacht in Italy.

I'd hate to think how much it cost, some people have more $ than sense.
