Biodiesel From Used Coffee Grounds?

Would be much nicer to get a waft of coffee smelling fumes as a car went past you than the current petrol/diesel choke!!

Not sure just how much energy would be required to extract the oil from the coffee grounds, and collecting all the grounds from the thousands of coffee shops might be a bit of a nightmare??

...and old coffee smells horrid, like instant coffee. However, better than diesel fumes, although the new little city diesels are cleaner than anything else on the road...

I wonder how many Mls of Biofuel I have sitting in my tamp box now. 4000 cups a day and I could run my car to work, scratch that 4000 cups and I'd run to work

I wouldn't have thought it would be that hard to collect all the grinds, there's people that go around getting all the fat from restaurants already so it shouldn't be that difficult to do coffee.

Is there really that much oil in coffee to make it worthwhile? I can't ever recall seeing a film of oil on top of my coffee...

That would be a pretty nice technique. People will live longer because they won't have to inhale all those toxic materials that come out from bunt diesel or petrol.
I wish this could be achievable.
