I had the best customer today, you other Mechanics will like this.

Cust X brings in old bike say hes an engineer but cant get his LH pedal on. Cust X then shows me the pedal. Its a RH pedal. But wait it gets better. He had worked out the whole LH/RH thing for himself so he decided to cut the thread off the RH pedal with a grinder(or something, must be good to get through a pedal axle). Then he turns the thread around and welds it back on thinking that it will fix the problem............

Its been a funny day today. :D

I had a custy come in today with a truly worn out drivetrain.

XT cluster, DA chain, say I.

He says, is that good? I says yep, pretty good, reliable, and not excessively expensive.

Anything more expensive? say he. Yep, say I. I could get you a full XTR drivetrain to replace this with, say I, Joking.

Ok, says he.

I've had that happen before. He even replaced his Deore Ft DR with XTR also. Guy was lucky I wasn't drinking anything when he said just do it.

Had a bike the other day with the BB cups around the wrong way.................cos the threads were around the wrong way also. BB went in and out beautifully, .....just backwards
