elixir 3's have quite a bit of flex in the system, calipers, levers and hoses.

Can't you just poke something thru the axle and tap it off from the inside? Gently gently

I don't have a 12mm axel and there is no lip for it to push agianst, this is what i would do to get the QR end cap out, I eventually got it with an engineers vice (no theath to dent and damage the endcap like pliers do).

Yes

Is the story of saint/zee/etc levers pushing more fluid than 2pot versions true then?
I haven't tried it yet, or seen a credible source. (I'm counting you as credible, shmoo).
Recently scored cheap xtr levers and wondering what to pair them with.

Calculate out piston areas and that's your answer.

Have a friend that has broken a Deore 4 pot lever and wondered if a 2 pot lever could work in a pinch.

Question: A couple of my frame bearings need replacing. Should I order these from my frame manufacturer and pay the nasty international shipping cost and wait a couple of weeks, or can the LBS figure out what bearings are needed and use what they're got/can get?
