Right. What's the price difference between resin and sintered, vs between XT and SLX?

Pads are the same shape in slx and xt, xt normally has cooling fins, slx doesnt

Metal pads are most wear resistant/ last longer, but are harder on rotors

Xt brake has adjustable servo wave adjust, gets pistons made of a different material, slx gets more price conscious materials

Again, not sure how much has changed since I bought 675s, but they had ceramic pistons and came with (resin) pads with cooling fins.
True, no contact point adjust screw, but has that worked for anyone? The ones on my 775s and 820s don't seem to.

Fair enough, these are knocking on $1k for both ends with rotors and adapters. They're not the dearest brakes around, but they are up there.

$10 difference on T7.
J04C vs J02C.

And $30 an end more for XT (on CRC)

But how much real world life does a set of resin pads have before needing replacement? I guess we are coming into summer, and I don’t intentionally ride in the wet... :eh:

IME resin pads last slightly more than half as long as sintered, and feel worse while doing it...
At that kind of price difference I'd go the XT.

How trustworthy do the vorbii find Pro wheelbuilder for finding spoke length?
The dimension measurements tally with what I've been able to find online.

So time to start pulling aftermarket parts off my bike while I wait for a new one! The Anthem will be going back in the worn Schwalbe's it came in......

So suspension, probably only for Dougal, are the dampers in a 2013 SID and 2016 Revelation compatible?

If so I will swap the RCT3 damper off the Anthem and put the RL back on. Then I'll replace the horrible XX damper on the SID.

And also talk to me about dub, is a screwfit GXP BB compatible.

2013 Sid will be a "B" which is A1-A3 generation.
2016 Revelation should be A1-A4 generation.
Threads should the the same, stanchion ID might differ. Part numbers are showing a split 2012-13 vs 14-16. Try it and see how you get on.

DUB is 29mm axle. So nothing available yet from me. The Screw-Fit 41mm are 24 and 24/22mm axle. Screw-Fit 46mm is 30mm. I will look at DUB for next wave of BB design. If it's still in favour.

I'll pull mine off and hang on to it then!

Found a comment in the Amazon reviews that you need to change the damper rod to make the RCT3 damper fit.
