My 2011 Reign is about to die. ooking at a brand new big travel bike. Will be doing everything on it. CAP, and commuting. Looking at a brand new big brand, preferably carbon, 150mm, not opposed to 27.5-29

Trek Remedy 9.8, just bought one from Evo Cycles silly cheap, loving it so far. Light, stiff, stable, gobbles up offcamber and roughies

Jhan will be along in a moment to tell you it's shit though.

New Reign also looks nice, there is a carbon one with similar spec for about $1000 more than the Remedy, Reign looks a bit more of a big slack point and shoot bruiser maybe, though I haven't ridden one, I'm just speculating from geo etc

Remedy is a trail bike, reign is a sled.

Dunno if I'd quite call my Remedy a "trail bike", it's 150R/160F travel with a 65.5 degree HA in the slack setting, my Turner was a trail bike and it's deffo a bit burlier than that.

But whatever, labels maaaaan. It's a way more capable bike than I am a rider, that's for sure

Not many bikes have made me giggle like the Tracer did. It's a very fun, fast bike.

Does the Giro distro carry visors?
I need a black one for my medium Chronicle.

Inb4 supporting gun manufacturing.

No visor, but they do have

HATP160 GIRO Montaro/Switchblade Visor Bolt_pair also Chronicle/Cartelle Black

Isn't it just the bolt that's broken on yours?

I've broken the post that goes into the indexing slot.
I was wondering why my GoNub vids have started to look a little shaky lately.
Must've done it when I dented the helmet on the same side.

Waaaah. I think this was my fault, I popped off a curb, heard crunching but kept peddling for a bit (because I was crossing a road).

Should I replace it with another Shimano 105, or are they all pretty similar? Its a 10 speed.

How much lateral adjustment is available on i spec B shifters?
And where in that range is equivalent to a band clamp unit touching inboard of the brake lever? (for reference)

Current setup has the bolt head centres ~25mm apart with 675 SLX units.
Cheers

They've really got the OE market cornered.

Can anyone recommend some roadie max coverage mudguards for my commutey SS. Has Cantis front and back. Ideally rattle-less or I’ll get triggered.
