There's an article on Stuff today about a group doing the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge 2010 to raise funds for the Neonatal Trust - a charity that supports the parents and families of premature and very sick babies. This is a tremendously valuable service of which I have personal experience: my son was born at 26 weeks (ie. more than 3 months early) and he would not have survived without the work of the neonatal unit and the Neonatal Trust. Now he is a normal teenager and, when I can get him away from playing computer games, we go mountain biking together - a simple thing that means a great deal to me.
I am very grateful for the work of the Neonatal Trust and consider them to be very worthwhile.
Therefore, please support this fund raising ride by making a donation at: Pushing it For Prem's.
