C Grade needs 10 entries to make it viable - please help us with this one...
encourage EVERYONE you know. The stages are very do-able, 25km road race, 21km
time trial, 45km road race, criterium... Lets get bums on seats!

Look at the "News" link which is our first means of communication to you
regarding the tour.

The 2 blogs relating to the tour: entries & interesting things about the tour,
sponsors (including information about Morrinsville) etc, very important to
catch up with these things...

Another link on our website is "EVENTS" which on the top has a link to
mapmyride.com - this will show you the tour stages for each grade - a sneak
peak for you :)

At this point in time there are very few entries in. I know most people leave
it to the last minute, but if you know people interested in the tour it would
be great if you could encourage them to enter early as possible!!

Happy training. Have a great day, again happy training and we look forward
to seeing you down here soon on the 9th & 10th of February

This is a really cool tour in beautiful countryside. It's superbly organised with one central base. While it's competitive at the top end, it's also good for the lesser lights of women's cycle sport... :)

Bev May Women's Tour

Postby quantum on Fri 18/Jan/08 8:08am

Thanks Oli for your support on this one. The team at Morrinsville Wheelers are working effortlessly to bring women the best cycle tour we can. As the note says, we need entries to make this a festival on wheels!!

Did we mention goody bags? Yes we have them this year! As well as spectacular circuits, 2x road races, 1x crit and 1x time trial. Something in there for everyone (even mountain bikers like this one for building fitness!)

Come on girls, U13.U15/U17 included as well as A, B C Grades!!
Awesome atmosphere.

Hey, if you don't want to ride, come watch, specators welcome. Base is at Morrinsville Intermediate School. 9 & 10 February!

I would absolutely love to. Unfortunately, it's the same weekend as the Palmy North XC NI Cup round :(

Good on you, Jo!

Next year, Pysch - this fleeting mtb obsession of yours will be gone by then... ;)

Hush Oli!!! And I'm with Psych - I'd be in if there was no clash, same with the Wellington tour.

But for any girls thinking about doing a tour, especially if you haven't done one before, this one would be great. All my tours have been 3 days so I never did the 2 day thing first up. It'd be a great way to get in to it :)

It would be a good thing to send out to the Capitelles riding group yes? :eh:

I'd absolutely love to, too. Unfortunately don't have the fitness just right now :(

They only need 3 more C grade entries to make it a viable race - I'd enter myself but I haven't had the surgery yet!

7 are confirmed for C grade, they need 10 total.
Hopefully another 3 women will sign up  .... or else I might end up in B grade

There's a group of Hamilton women who I I used to ride with, and I am 'encouraging, them to enter - hopefully we'll have the numbers!
