Sherlock is pretty decent.

Sherlock Holmes set in the modern era could have been an absoloute abortion, but they done a pretty good job of it.

Just stumbled across the last half of a new series called Rural Drift, at first was thinking what the shit is this? On further viewing realised it's nothing short of brilliant.

maybe not the "BEST" tv series ever, but was pretty cool... stumbled upon The Misfits last night OnDemand. Missed the first episode, but it looks to be pretty good. that scene when he's shagging the blonde hottie and she turns into an old woman was pretty funny.

It was a techno / spyo / intellectualo 17-part series from the late 1960's that basically had Patrick McGoohan resign as a MI-5 chap, then get kidnapped and awaken in the mysterious village (The wacky Portmeirion in Wales, built by the even wackier Sir Clough Williams-Ellis), where he became Prisoner Nº 6. Each time he plotted to escape, he'd be mowed down by blobular spheres, and end up back where he started.
The basic deal was that his reality kept shifting, and viewers were never quite sure what was going to happen next. At the end of each episode there were more questions than answers. I don't think anyone was meant to understand it.

It was, as the French say, très cool... in 1967
