Grapefruit is in the incorrect position. I admit it is an awkward fruit, but it is also the most delicious of fruits.

Yes and no - I reckon you could ferment just about anything on that list....

When next you purchase a whole pineapple or three, save the skins etc that you would normally bin. Chuck them in a clean bucket. Cover them with water. cover bucket with damp tea towel. Place in a cool dry place for a week to ten days. Check often after a week. Suitable fermenting will have taken place. Strain liquid and sweeten to taste. Bottle and refrigerate. Don't take too long drinking them, the bottles are known to go *boom* in the fridge.

Can't tell if is a serious suggestion or not.

Really? It doesn't get super funky and gross? Wouldn't you just get rotten pineapple bacterial shitwater?

Serious, i've done it many time. *burp*

Is Obama a fruit :ib: (some say yes). He's black at least :D

The darker the fruit the sweeter the juice.

Plums are certainly fermentable enough to wipe out most of the GDP of a Balkan nation:

Cherries. I forgot about cherries.

'cept they are too variable. The properly ripe ones are device, but too often there are yet to be properly ripe ones in the handful you grab or that 'just one more' one that ruin the experience.
