Not trying to be a dick, but shouldn't we only be allowed to chose one best fruit?

Apricots

Oh, and most of the berries (raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries, strawberries etc) are not scientifically classed as berries, but a tomato is.

can't believe the nectarine is scoring so well.

It shouldn't even be the third best stone fruit, coming behind apricot, peach and any other stone fruit.

(we had a couple of nectarine trees when I was a kid that my mum used to make us eat. Even preserved them so we could enjoy them all year. Rhubarb too)

Pumpkin is a fruit, the scientific proof being that it is allegedly used in commercial fruit jams.

How about beans?

They are referenced as such in song.

I'm partial to durian, but plums are it (largely because good ones are unobtanium over here). I'd pick Omega (just) over Black Doris, but I like the contrast to remind myself.

Black Doris, Black Boy peaches, black currants, black grapes. Anything black is wonderful.
