Beginners Skill Area Design Help

Postby WayneG on Fri 2/Mar/12 11:42am

I am trying to design a beginners skill area for my local club. Does anyone have any plans for ones from their area or any ideas of what things we should have in it. So far I have came up with sea-saw, swing bride, solid bridge, rock garden, balance beam, small drops, slalom poles. What else could we have?
Thanks for your help.

A series of left/right/left/right burms for people to learn quick balance changes and weight distribution with. Me and a mate sessioned the burms at Victoria park's Brake Free track for about 2 hours a while back, really helps having them one after another as you learn how to best set up for tight trails and quick adjustments. Also a set of flat corners with the same idea would do a similar thing.
