Registrations are now closed for the course. Have had a great response, but in the interests of safety and the sanity of our volunteers, we've had to close off entries. Cheers.

What a great turn-out! Had just over 30 people, around 20 kids and 10 adults (give or take a few!) who came along.

Cheers to Scotty, Geoff (thorg), and Paula (Sweet P) + a couple of parent helpers who took the kids group, Ashley from the WCC (ashleyaz) who helped me take the adults group, and Nigel, Shane (ryda), and Cam (XCcrazy) for taking the more "intermediate" group.

Good times all round

Psych: I just bumped into a workmate who you had in your group (Helen). She told me you were mean, nasty, horrible and have put her off MTB-ing for life. Nah, I jest - she really enjoyed it and found it at about the right level for her.

Just want to say huge thanks to everyone who helped me on the day - I learnt heaps about what was going wrong with my bike and my riding

Replayed all the instructions in my head the folllowing w/e at Mangamahoe and since then have had fun riding up and down the country!

Last night I finally rode Denniston Plateau which is like a series of rock gardens, nifty slots and watch out creeks - the BEST training ground for dealing with rock phobia - who would have thoought!

Hey Thorg - especially if you go with the locals - they've done an awesome job of making everything MTB friendly and show you some unmapped routes too

Think I've bonded with the anthem - thanks to you and Jim for the new set up on course day - it changed everything
