on a large scale this be what ye likes o' Briscoes and Kathmandu do - have a "sale" on a regular basis - seems to fool punters
as ye allude, addng value in other ways sure be really important - ye "good guy/gal" thing . . .
me LBS – ye owner doesn’t discount or have sales – ever. If I buy something he just knocks some $ o' whatever it be because I’m a loyal customer He does this with other regulars too.
