Accident Thorndon Quay Fri 26th - Witnesses Wanted

I was knocked off my bike last Friday morning about 8 am on Thorndon Quay (near Glengarry wine heading towards town) by a guy in a Ute. I luckily escaped serious injury and the bike is OK. A couple of people stopped to help (called ambo/police and made sure i was OK) and if you are reading this thanks. If anyone witnessed the accident could you write me statement of what happened for insurance company purposes? Once again thanks to the guys who stopped.
