Thank You J’ville Cycles!

After a long time with J”Ville Cycles I am moving on. J’Ville cycles have been there since the start of my mountain biking, I have found them to be a fantastic bike shop and always been really supportive. I have had their mechanic Daniel working all hours to fix last minute, urgent bike troubles. Never making smart comments about the different ways it is possible to break things, when just riding along… Or how that derailleur got twisted 180 degrees?? Well at least not to my face. They’re a great bunch of guys Francis, David and Daniel, for that and all their awesome support I owe these guys abit more than a thank you… some chocolate cake perhaps?

You see I have decided to change bike shops to R&R Sports. Being a bigger chain of shops they are able to assist me in different ways, plus they support a number of other girls around the country. So it will be great to be part the R&R team and be able to line up at races with them. It also means I can put all my effort into my studies hmmmmmmmmm. Bringing me to my next point, I am no longer going over to Australia to race in the Canberra world cup. Two internal assessments are due that week that I would need to take off and being my final year of school I want to finish it and pass well. There are plenty of races in the years ahead of me, just be patient they keep telling me!!!!

As an aside I had the last week and abit mainly lying in bed sick but recovered enough on the week to ride the downhill track at Wainuiomata on the weekend, where I included having a tree hugging session halfway down – not recommended as it resulted in me losing more bark than the tree… But at least I didn’t sparc my knees this time… Hopefully I will be back in action fully this week and am looking forward to participating in the second round of the PNP BP road series.
