The idea
A few years ago a cheeky cyclist once challenged Greg Fraine that he could beat him up to Third House (a Nelson running and mountainbiking haunt) on his bike and with Greg running.

And so the challenge begins ...... who is faster? A machine (mountainbiker) or a runner?
Who will get mid-winter bragging rights?

How does it work?
If you're a runner - challenge one of your biker mates to see who will get up to Third House the fastest and then race them on the 29th of June. Runners will leave at 9.00am and mountainbikers at 9.30am to ensure minimal congestion on the track.

If you don't have a biker mate (or runner mate if you're a biker) then just see how many you can beat in total and enter individually.

Where does it start?
Starting at the O.K. Corral and finishing at Third House.

What time does it start?
Runners at 9.00am. Mountainbikers at 9.30am.

What is the entry fee?
Entry Fee:$10. Mulled wine and Muffins or Beer and Tasman Bay Hot Bites on your return to the carpark (alternative for Under 18's)

What happens when I get to the top?
Your time will be recorded, then when everyone has made their way up, jog or ride back down together and at the bottom will be mulled wine, Tasman Bay Hot Bites and muffins and you will get your chance to brag!
