Results: Makara Peak Grand Loop Challenge

Here are the results for the Makara Peak Grand Loop Challenge event, held on Monday 17th March, 2008, at Makara Peak in Wellington.

Riders rode a complete lap of the Grand Loop (up Koru, Sally Alley, Missing Link, Aratihi to summit, then down Ridgeline, Ridgeline Extension, SWIGG/Starfish), timed from the shelter at the main carpark. Split times were also taken at the top. The fastest overall time posted on the day was Ricky Pincott in 40 minutes 47 seconds, with the fastest climb to the summit by Michael Naylor in 30 minutes and 24 seconds.
