Here are the series results for the AKDH - North Island Downhill Series 2007
We would like to thank the Wanganui, Wellington and Rotorua clubs for there assistance in making this series a great success. It has been a huge undertaking putting this series together for all clubs involved.
We would also like to thank all the riders, the way you conducted yourselves throughout the series was so professional, especially when driving in and out of the events, outstanding!
Since the final at Rotorua we have been through the handwrittten and computer results of all races several times to check for errors. Due to the nature of manually compiling the hundreds of results from the races, based on reconciling times for non-series & series entries, names/nicknames/mis-spelled name, series & raceday classes etc., there is some room for error but we take as much care as possible to ensure that the results are accurate. Unfortunately we discovered an error in an earlier race that alters the series placing for 3rd in the U15 category only. All other results remain as announced on the day of the final. We'd like to express our apologies to those affected. We are already investigating ways we can improve the results including at looking at more even more high-tech options for timing and issuing series number plates. We'll keep you posted on these. We can only improve so next year will be even better.
