The King Country Challenge is a mountain biking event for individuals, families, teams and kids, set in the heart of the King Country at Piopio, midway between Hamilton and New Plymouth. Riders can choose from the challenging 50km track or opt for easier but just as scenic 37km or 20km rides. Kids can burn up some energy on the 13km or 10km trails. This ride is over pristine farmland with river gorges, great hills and limestone pillars. Take this chance to ride over land not normally open to the public and just what mountain bikers dream of. Free camping is available for those of you that want to make a weekend of this adventure. For an entry form go to www.kingcountrychallenge.co.nz or give Wendy a call on 078777885
