The Scottwood Trust NZSS Cycling Points Championships were held at Manfield Autofield on Monday September 24th. Conditions deteriorated throughout the day and the Under 20 Girls and Under 20 Boys races were held in wet and difficult conditions.

Hayden McCormick, St John's College, rode the standout performance of the day. McCormick scored the perfect score winning each of the sprints in the Under 14 Boys category.

The Under 16 Boys and Under 17 Boys were very tight affairs with Josh Atkins, Christchurch Boys High School and Taylor Gunman, Westlake Boys High School winning by a countback from George Scott (U16) and Patrick Williamson (U17).

St Peter's College Cambridge student, Emma Peterson collected her second title of the weekend winning the Under 20 girls.

Congratulations to the local organisers for a safe and successful event. A full set of results can be viewed on the BikeNZ website www.bikenz.org.nz.
