The Scottwood Trust Secondary Schools National Road Championships Team Time Trial were held on Saturday 22nd September in near perfect conditions. Auckland Grammar took out the prestigious Sir Bernard Fergusson Trophy just ahead of Westlake Boys and Saint Kentigern College.

Over 600 students competed in Levin aged from 11 through to 19 years representing over 80 schools from all over New Zealand. Racing throughout the day was competitive with Auckland Grammar and Diocesan School for Girls both having a successful day out winning the Under 20 and Under 16 Boys and Girls respectively. Having fielded the largest team for the event, Saint Kentigern were rewarded with the Year 7/8 Boys title. Taupo Intermediate claimed the Year 7/8 Girs title.

Tomorrow will see the Road Race events contested in Feilding with over 650 competitors taking part in 12 categories.
