Having grown up on two wheels I was a crap car driver. An approaching 30th meant becoming responsible so I decided to learn to drive
sideways. In a bog standard Daihatsu Mira, in Brighton, Chch - the heart of Bogan culture. Drag races with the local Easties were frequent and the Mira often led up to say 30kph, woohoo!

High speed (approaching 80 kph) handling was scary even in a straight line because of the enormous red telephone on the roof.
Good times.

um, what percentage of the nz population of boiracers are in Christchurch? i'd estimate at LEAST 30%, so, the munted roads here have nothing to do with that decrease in offending???

I suspect so. Boiracerz flock to Chch and Hamiltron. Way less elsewhere as the other major centres are too intelligent to put up with their BS to any great extent.
