Is Anyone Still Rockin The Fixie?

Postby i'mfixed on Mon 12/Apr/10 2:22pm

Hey all, I see the last Fixed Gear post is pre RTL 2009... just wondering if anyone's still hooning around on fixies, or if their days are numbered?

p.s. I'm riding fixed and love it, except my knees hurt :(

Pics welcome!

I have a ghetto one with brakes I ride to the shops and to work/uni. I think maybe all the excited posers have dropped off the band wagon and jumped onto the next thing, whatever that is (seems to be lots of "longboarders" rolling around chch these days)... Or maybe they are all in jail or dead for unsuccessfully going brakeless :D

Perhaps over the summer months fashion bikers/fakengers take up Aggressive Rollerblading.

originally called fruit booters for the colours of our skates i don't think you'd be eating any fruit that's grey or black... :eh:

I rode one round the shop the other day. I suck at skids. Couldn't see myself riding one on the road. At least not brakeless
