Anyone Skiing In The Us/canada?

I'm probably gonna do a weekend in Whistler and 4-5 days in Salt Lake while on a work trip.

Anyone in either of these places keen to ski?

well this thread relly went off topic quickly....

hope you have a mint time skiing in canada though. my mate just got back, fresh powder every day. I think it was suposed to stop snowing for a bit but i would assume the Canadians lack of snow is our dream ( this said he got back 3 weeks ago...). Have a wicked time bro!

Heard Alta is the place to ski in Utah. Wicked dry powder, and lots of it. Alcohol restrictions, they don't make drinking easy in the Morman state.
Inner BC resorts have drier snow that the North shore ones if powder is what you are after. :rolleyes:

Yea.. will be Alta mainly I think. Have a few days borrowing a freinds car while she goes to Med School. Then the weekend I think we'll go back country somewhere.

Whistler is case of opportune locality. Need to spend a few days in Redmond so fly in on Air NZ into YVR and have the weekend up there first... Could head to Kelowna or Kaploops if the snow conditions dictate. Golden/Revvy just a bit far away for a weekend.

Why fly into YVR when you could go straight into YYC then from there fly direct to SLC.
Drive up to Park City for a few days then fly SLC to LAX then home to WLG via AKL :ib:
