Hi all.

Hope you are all emerging from a winter of hard training quicker than ever and want to get fired up for a Summer of Downhill!
Running late I know but here is the latest information for the AKDH NIS 2009.

We've got a pretty packed calendar this year with 5 events at some of the best tracks around.
Each event is run by the local club and race entries should be made to them.

Wellington 26/27th Sept - http://www.wmtbc.org.nz
Wanganui 10/11th Oct - exact address to follow. But OTD entries available.
Rotorua 7/8th Nov - http://www.rotorua.mtbclub.org.nz
Napier 21/22nd Nov - http://www.hbmtbc.co.nz
Final in Auckland 12/13th Dec - http://www.akdh.co.nz

The typical format is practice on Saturday. Then Sunday, limited practice before racing.
The best 3 results including the final count towards points. Ties will be decided by the result at the final.

Attached is the entry form for series points registration, which covers the admin, numbers and prize fund.
Points registration must be completed and received by NOON THURSDAY 24th SEPTEMBER -this is when I'll be leaving for Wellington so no exceptions.
Entries received early enough will have their race number plates posted out, later ones will be bought to the races and available for pick-up.

This will depend on the club running the rnd best to check with them as they all vary depending on transport costs etc

Full Face will be a must and probably leg armour but anything else will be up to rider i guess,

Again up to individual clubs but most are aligning with current BNZ requirements for minimum safety standards i:e gloves, full face helmet, shin guards and elbow protection for under 19,s and long sleeve jersey at least 3/4 length

Please note the Napier Rnd is now on weekend 21/22nd November bought forward a week so doesn't clash with round Taupo event as all Dher,s will be attending yeah right
