Sounds like Huff Post are doing what they usually do.

I'm checking emails in between jet lag.

No one, well probably some NZ poli's, asked for military vehicles for a parade and meant a Mitsi Triton, Pingauzer and a Unimog!

Auckland.

It's not so much the time difference (5hrs). It's just the dehydration, airplane food and lack of sleep.

Roger Wilco, but that's not jet lag (me being pedantic). Jet lag is from flying West > East such that the body's time clock packs a sad over the missing hours, and throws a hissy fit about having to do overtime when sleeping seems like a better policy, or wonders why nobody wants to party at 5am. Being tired and dehydrated is... being tired and dehydrated.
End of pedantic diatribe.

How's Taiwan? I'm wanting to head over to source some parts for my 1968 Kawasaki B1L and, for some reason that remains a theological conundrum, Taipei is the B1L Mecca.

Taiwan is amazing. This is my secund trip here.

It's a cool mix of Japanese infrastructure with Chinese chaos over the top. The people are friendly, the weather is warm, the mountains can be seen from the city.

Kewl! If you see a B1L, whack the owner over the head, pack it up, and send it to me...

They're all step thru scooters here. Millions and millions of them. Saw an electricians scooter today. Fold up ladder on the back, coils of cable looped into the ladder and a box of tools on the floor boards.

Should have got a photo.

Jungle rain.

Nothing like Singapore. But bad enough to buy an umbrella for the first time ever.

Sorry, Dougal - No. I'm living in Malaysia and surrounded by thousands of these and their ilk every day. I'm a bit more old school...

Are you managing to get out and about in Taiwan? Some pretty speccy places inland in the mountains.

But this one is XCITING. Check the name.

Nothing touristy this time. All business. I was invited out riding next time by a Taiwanese Engineer who showed me pictures of his bike at the Hehuanshan Road summit (3275m altitude).

I'm not up for that.

Back home and working now.

Next Taipei show is October 2018. There's also a Taichung show about the same time.
