Nah I reckon that was drawn up by the washington post to make themselves look more central than they are. Plenty of media outlets (and their parent companies) have donated to various presidential candidates and all sorts and there was a shitload of direct collusion between various media outlets and the DNC (articles being checked and whatnot).

I cant find the linked version right now but eg

I dont straight up believe any source without looking around at a few things first.

Shit like this is absurdly common from all over the place

Interesting Vice makes that list. Didn't News Corp buy a slice of them a few years back and quickly stick a Murdoch on the board?

I, for one, look forward to hearing more "alternative facts" from the new administration.
"That was the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period."
“sometimes two plus two is four. But sometimes it’s five or even three. Sometimes it’s all of those at the same time.”

I appear to have missed this. What's it all about?

On only the 2nd day in power, White house press secretary Sean Spicer makes a demonstrably false claim
"That was the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period."

When questioned on NBC's "Meet the Press" why Spicer used his first appearance before the press to dispute a minimal issue like the inauguration crowd size, and why he used falsehoods to do so, Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, said the White House press secretary gave "alternative facts" when he inaccurately described the inauguration crowd as "the largest ever" during his first appearance before the press this weekend.

The phrase "two plus two equals five" ("2 + 2 = 5") is a slogan used in many different forms of media, most notably in Part One, Chapter Seven of George Orwell's book Nineteen Eighty-Four; therein, it is used as an example of an obviously false dogma one may be required to believe, similar to other obviously false slogans by the Party in the novel. It is contrasted with the phrase "two plus two makes four," the obvious—but politically inexpedient—truth.

It appears no-one has any attendance figures for any of these rallies. So to claim biggest or smallest for any is a claim that simply can't be verified.

But yeah "alternate facts" is just asking for a media beating. Especially since the mainstream media got chewed out the day before and are looking for payback.

Im waiting for the second Mexican war maybe they'll get back the bits of Mexico that the yanks seized in the 1846-48 war that gained the U.S Texas ,New Mexico and a huge chunk of California (by a stroke of enormous good fortune the bit of California they got was chock full of Gold and Silver) and other territory, all up they annexed an area about the size of western Europe which isnt a bad result .
Ironically one of the lead ups to this was the Mexicans getting pissed off and taking action about displaced Indians raiding over the border into their territory raping ,pillaging and nicking Mexican beef which was sold back across the border to American farmers .

Its a bit ironic trump wanting to build a wall across the current border that in 1845 was a very ,very long way into Mexican territory when the thieves and rapists were heading south instead of the other way round

Of course there would be a good probability of Trump ordering the Slagging of a few Mexican cities with his new atomic toys just to prove a point
