491 & Spoon Hill Helmetcam - Wainui Trail Project

Postby Conners on Thu 15/Jan/09 8:36pm

Did a couple of helmetcam runs down 491 & Spoon Hill in Wainui last night. The first one the camera was a wee bit low, and by the time I did the second one the light was fading fast. This is a combo of the two runs, cutting from one to the other twice.

No probs at all Richard - cheers for that. (does the "embed" link from youtube work on the blog? (might be nasty in terms of bandwidth for you though?))

Oh noes - where abouts did you manage that - not on the uber-rut just before you come out of the trees on the fast lower section I hope? :(

um, not overly familiar, still in the thinning bush before it opens out REAL fast. You can ride in the rut, or go down the right for a faster smoother line. I went right a bit late, dropped back into the rut - wobbled - thought *phew, glad I rode that out* - then thought *glad I didnt crash over there* - proceeded to look where I was glad I didnt crash, headed straight for the spot I was glad I didnt crash, and proceeded to crash

damn target fixation :hmmm:
