Day 1 of ridding was such a mint day, we couldn't have hoped for any better. Blue skies with not a cloud and scorching hot.

This is the start of the track, we got shuttled here by buses
After a small bit of riding the track split and we were given to directions, some people went right some went left, we were puzzled but after hearing screams of excitement comming from the people who went right, right was out choice and we were presented with this.

Next was to following a very fast and long downhill

This is a rocky downhill section that some of us did just before we all stopped for some lunch near the stream.

Then we had the stream crossing

A long and gradual crimb was next on the menu, this is near the top
After this was a bit of down and more up and down and...

...more up

Some more down and at the end a big bridge with a fantastic view of a river

Next it was the Pub
From there we got shuttled back to where we were staying and then proceeded to another pub which lead to some eating and plenty of drinking.
Next day some of us rode Waihaha Hut, which is a nice 11km track that ends up at a hut and then you ride back out. It poured with rain all day and we got soaked, at the end of the ride we went for a swim
