42nd Traverse.
Tongariro Forest.

This is one of the most popular mountain bike rides in the North Island. It involves brilliant biking on old logging tracks through remote native bush and an overall descent of 570m

.

This ride will be on Saturday March 31st (day befor April fools).

I"ve booked 34 beds at Howards lodge, National Park.
I've booked for the Friday, and Saturday night. This can change to suit what people want.
The beds are $25 a night (and you won't need your sleeping bag).
The shuttle to and from the 42nd Traverse is also $25.

This must be confirmed by March 1st.

twas a great trip, and so nicely organised by Ocky

should be in for this one as well, depending on my running training program, though I am sure I can bend that for this.

First in first served?

my calander is free - is there a limt on people to the 34 mentioned? (I dont need accomodation, I travel with mine) - but the shuttle sounds convenient

There can be more than 34. 34 is all the cheap beds. But in your case you can sleep for free in your truck
