Possibly, had it not sounded like it was coming from a 2000W subwoofer rattling in the boot of a Datsun 120Y.

I wonder why they had Jay Zed. Its not like its a similar music style.
Don't overseas acts have to have a local act with them? Its a musicians union thing

People we know who went were very impressed with the U2 show :)

Personally I thought the previous Vertigo tour was better for the song choices and the sound mix quality. We were in East stand Friday night and I thought it was a bit "dof dof"...not sure if it was just where we were sitting? I thought Vertigo had better lead ins into the songs...you could hear the Edges amazing guitar work and the lyrics better than at 360 on Friday. Bono appeared to struggle to get the crowd singing along as well as at Vertigo. The staging and the visuals were amazing... :)

I didn't realize how many People passionately HATE U2! Awesome concert, only negative was having to be tortured by listening to Hip-Hop before hand. Fantastic that point & shoot cameras were allowed. here are a few I took over the two nights.

AWESOME pics Bill! Loved the Until the End of the World bridges one - that was super cool. Tried to snap a pic myself but alas my point and shoot is a POS and was having issues focusing.
Were you behind the stage one of the nights - pic of Adam looks like he's heading down the stairs at the back? [edit - of course you were - that's pretty clear in your first pic!]
I reckon that would've been pretty good seats back there, nice and close to the stage and they seemed to spend a bit of time around the back as well. And a bargain at $40 too, was tempted to try and snaffle one and head back on Friday night.

Don't worry about all the haters, it keeps me entertained how they monitor this thread so closely and keep their witty retorts flowing so freely

Thanks Conners. I had my camera (Panasonic FZ8) set to intelligent ISO and used the flash (which for some reason seem to decrease the noise/grain) It was handy having the 12X zoom to get up close. It was the next best thing to having a dSLR which were not permitted.

Both nights we were in the north stand, the first night in the middle @ $109.90 , friday night we in the lower @ $39.90 My fav pic "Until the End of the World bridges " was taken on the second night, I was a little more prepared the second time round.

I have posted more pics on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... =664644667
