96th Ronde Van Vlaanderen this Sunday.

Cobbles, vicious climbs, vast numbers of drunken spectators, a new route lapping horrible climbs, threats of tacking the new route in protest.

What more could we want? :thumbsup:

Will it be a showdown between Boonen and Cancellara?
Boonen is in fine fettle taking Ghent Wevelgem and E3 Harelbeke but can he match Cancellaras power on the cobbles?
Cancellara looked so strong again in the Milan San Remo, and in Ghent Wevelgem

What of Gilbert who has had some bad luck so far this year with crashes and punctures??

The possibilities go on!

Sagan , Friere, VanMarke, Pozzato, Chavanel . . . .

Wooo, SBS says its live on SBS 1 at 10:30pm which means 8:30 our time I think. It also says 'live to Eastern states' I assume that includes Tassie where we get the signal from :eh:

There were nearly tears over that dirty aussie taking advantage of him in San Remo. Which is the problem with watching Oz coverage as she muted the gushing about how wonderful Gerro is when they covered the race on Sunday. If Cancellara gets rolled on Monday morning any of you in the Waikato will know the origin of the anguished scream at 4am.
