Looks awesome. Track seems real fast. How long do you reckon?

The 1.5km track is between 2 minutes to 3 minutes long.

In 2010, local pro rider Brook Macdonald won the AKDH Series event in just under 2 min 4 sec on this same track.

The middle section of "Hi-Roller" at Pan Pac Eskdale MTB Park has had some slight tweeks & modifications, but overall the times will still be roughly the same as last year.

Postal entries close on Wednesday (2nd Nov); online entry closes at 1pm on Friday 4th. [$70 entry fee]

Rego: 8.30am-2pm on Saturday 5th ONLY.
Practice: 9.30am-4pm on Saturday 5th
Race day on Sunday 6th with 2 timed runs - best run counts

For the event only, parking will be within the privately owned, productive, working forest on Sat & Sun, enter via Waipunga Rd, Eskdale (off SH5), north of Napier.
PLEASE RESPECT THIS PRIVILEGED ACCESS - NO SMOKING, NO FIRES

bump!

Note, that postal entries close today; online entry remains open until 1pm on Friday (Mastercard or Visa only), otherwise you can enter during rego on Saturday between 8.30am - 2pm - cash or cheque only ($70 entry fee), which is at the event base, within the forest, access off Waipunga Rd (vehicle access into the private forest is for the event only, during the official practice & racing times only).

Event Website - includes online entry, course map, preview video, etc

Also, in Napier, we have just built a brand new pump track next to our existing Taradale Dirt Park - built by Baywide Dingos with help from Brook Macdonald. All that's left to do is plant some trees & grass, lay over some dirt glue (when the dirt is dry) & build a timber fence.

You can ride it this weekend at the National Pump Track Open, Saturday 5th Nov, from 5pm (after practice at the NZDH has completed for the day) - FREE access to all - located in Taradale, next to the Pettigrew Green Arena (opp EIT), over the bank near the river.
Watch video of the making & riding of it here
