To enter you must be a member of Gravity Canterbury. If you haven’t joined/rejoined for 2009 your membership will not be current.

Kids note that if you are planning to race, we need your parents/caregivers signature, otherwise no race. No exceptions.

Round 3 in our PushBikes summer race series is on Sunday 6 December at Victoria Park.
If you haven't already registered for Round 3, get into PushBikes to collect an entry form (or print one from http://www.gravitycanterbury.org/documents/Summer_Series_09_Entry_Form.pdf) and bring along to registration with your $35.00.

• Registration: Saturday 5 December, 1-3pm, Sunday 8.30am - 10.00am at end of Bowenvale Ave
• Practice runs: track will be marked out by Saturday afternoon. Vans will run from 9.00am on Sunday
• Race day practising from 9.00 - Noon, then Lunch, Race briefing at 12.30pm, Racing starts at 1.00pm
• Sausages ($1) and softdrinks ($1) for sale afterwards, before PushBikes spot prizes and results
• Series results will be calculated later and prizegiving for this will be on Sunday 20 December, 5.00pm upstairs at Elevate Cafe. Series' category winners will be awarded the Canterbury Champs trophies. (More on this closer to the time.)

A few reminders:
1. You must check in at the registration table on Saturday or Sunday morning, even if you have already paid for the whole series. You need to tell us you are racing, in what category, show us your protective gear and collect your race number dot so you can get on the vans.
2. There is a 5 second penalty if you cross the race start line early!
3. For u19 riders you must comply with MTBNZ rules and wear fullface helmet, full-finger gloves, elbow and knee pads. You have been warned at races 1 and 2. No more warnings. For Race 3 incorrect protective gear = no racing. We will be checking before you get on the vans and at the top of the hill.

I rode ( in a muppet sort of way ) the track last weekend and I can tell you that it will be on the right side of Vic Park. Get some early practice in on Saturday if you feel you need it, once the course is taped off .
AND, do a little Sun dance fellas / fellesses so it goes ahead

Haha i do have to laugh at everyone asking about the track . No one will know till it is taped out because the taper might decide to change it at the last minute...
