So Oli, you going to let us know your tips? and we can have our wager ;)

Evans, Valverde, Cunego, Schleck...That's how it looks to me.

Not coy, just considered Joel. I'm not Nostradamus! :D

I'd like to get some gauge of real Cunego's (and Menchhov's) form too, but it's hard to say.

I want to say Valverde for GC, but I think limpet Evans will be able to stick with him on the climbs and dust him in the TTs

Go Evans I reckon! If only because hes the most human looking of the lot!
Cunego is awesome, but I think he will get a hiding in the TT

Picks for the first stage anyone?

It's not exactly a classic sprinters stage with four cat4 climbs and a hilltop finish. Suit maybe a strong Amstel Gold performer with its finish similar to that atop the Cauberg... looking at the podium of that race this year and you have a list of possible GC contenders in Cunego, Schleck and Valverde so maybe too early in the Tour for them to be showing their hands.

So will it be a sprinter who is strong over the small climbs and the uphill finishes - Freire or Bettini or will it be one of the in form strongmen - Devolder or Cancellara?

My wildcard pick for stage one is Thomas Dekker.
