2008 Makara Peak Rally Video (working!)

By far the most enjoyable event on the Wellington race calendar, the 2008 Makara Peak Rally was held way back on December 7th. This footage has been lurking on my hard drive ever since, and I thought it was time it was cut into some kind of watchable form.

Putting this together reminded me of just how awesome the Makara trails are - although perhaps they're not quite as dry at the moment as they are in this clip!

Cheers to the Makara Peak Supporters for all the work they do in maintaing and developing the park - and for putting on such a wicked event :thumbsup:

It always amazes me how well you get around the course and how much footage you get. Yet another quality production there Ben!

Cheers Neil - I did forget to mention that there is footage in there from both the Creek to Peak and the Rally, so I did cheat a little :blush:

Love the vid Ben. It must have taken a while. I think the best bit is capturing Morgan's wandering hand on the start line. No doubt overcome by my uber-manly display of crotch grabbing.

Was a great reminder of that great event and how rad my missing shorts are. I reckon Mrs Aldred has secretly binned them.
