the bass looks totaly nuts. very nice. but i dont know what its intended for, why ride djs when you can ride a hardtail, why ride freeride trails when you have the option of 1-6inches more travel. unless you have a perfectly groomed addidas slopestlye course, it just isnt practical. nevertheless, looks nice.

i dissagree, a 4 inch play bike would be great, like the older turner rails, i would love one. you could esily ride djs on it by hardening the rear shock up, and then chucking s softer spring in if you want to ride some rougher trails.

so, for that you need to buy a softer spring, and why harden it up when you can have a hardtail. on djs the ride feel would be lost. for rougher trails dont you want more travel? seems stupid to me.

The Bass is basically a reworked Howler.. which is one hell of a fun bike, pops like a hardtail but lands like a full sus.

There's also the Five-O for next year which looks to be a freeride-type hardtail... Longer travel forks and lower standover than the Cowan.

i would rather buy one bike and some springs than buy a freeride bike AND a hardtail ;) and like mentioned before they would be great for 4x racing.

i hate the paint job on all of them! it looks like theyr trying to be all continental or something.
the old simple jobs were much better looking!
a few of them are alright tho.. i like the bass.
