I got tired of all the Cavendish stories before MSR just as I'm already tired of all the stories about Cavendish and the Olympic road race etc etc. I hope Sky is paying Bernie Eisel well for towing him around Europe this summer.

A wins a win I suppose, but it reminds me a bit of that stage he burgled in the TDF a few years back.

Can't get the attitudes here. Winners are grinners. Everyone had the same opportunity, they just weren't as smart as Gerrans.

Not knocking Gerrans, just Spartacus. He needs to find another way to win.

Some interesting comments on other parts of the web about racing for UCI points. Not the way I'd like to see cycling evolve, surely it's the win or nothing?
